April A. Atkins is the new President-Elect of the Greater Orlando Chapter #73 of the National Association of Women in Construction. Congratulations April.
April A. Atkins of Kirwin Norris in Winter Park/Orlando was re-appointed to the Florida Bar Real Property Probate and Trust Law Section Executive Council and as Vice-Chair of the Section's Construction Law Committee.
Kirwin Norris, P.A. was recently awarded a three year contract to serve as special construction legal counsel to Orange County Public Schools. Kirwin Norris was awarded the contract through a competitive RFP and Interview process, ultimately besting eleven other law firms.
Two of Kirwin Norris’ attorneys, April A. Atkins and David M. Adelstein have joined the ranks of several other attorneys in the Firm as Board Certified by The Florida Bar as Specialists in Construction Law. The Firm’s services include prosecuting and defending bid protests, drafting and negotiating contracts, providing project concurrent advice, and mediating, arbitrating and litigating construction disputes throughout the entire state of Florida.
